T-ball time again!
Date Night
Last Saturday was Date Night! Maggie and James attended a father/daughter dance at Maggie's school. She was so excited! We went shopping for her dress. At the store we had to take about 5 different dressed to the fitting room. She then had to model them for my friend Dee and her daughter. The Easter Bunny bought her yellow butterfly earrings. The day of the dance she took a long bath, put on her own perfume (Love's Baby Soft - I had the same kind when I was a kid) did her hair, put on her good jewelry and some sparkles on her face. They went to Chicago's Pizza for dinner before the dance (Maggie's choice). She really had fun. While they were at the dance Owen and I had our own date night. He picked out his clothes for our date. Tye-die shirt and jeans with holes. Typical boy, can't wait to see how he dresses for his dates in High School. He decided that we would go to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. It was really good. We then went shopping for worms and came back home to play the Wii. It was nice for James and I to be able to spend some alone time with the kids.

We had nice weather over the weekend. Owen and Maggie both wanted to fish. Maggie got a new Barbie fishing pole. She caught a fish all by herself. Monday evening it was starting to turn cooler but as soon as James got home they both wanted him to take them fishing. Maggie was so proud of herself. She caught 5 fish, put her worm on by herself and even took 2 fish off the hook. She said it was all because of her lucky fishing hat! Owen was a little upset because he only caught 2 this time. We can't wait until we can be outside more often.

Quick Update
I know it's about time! Here is a quick update of what has been going on at the Hannah House. We had a great Christmas. The kids really enjoyed it this year. Of course they were bored with all their new toys within a week. Maggie was in a Christmas program thru her dance program at school. James and I went to Pittsburgh for a couple days for his work Christmas party. Owen has started basketball. They both have started choir at our church and really enjoy it. James is in his busy season at work so he has been working weekends. I've been busy running the kids around, Bible studies, and my MOPS group. My next mini-marathon is in May so I have started training for that too. We are all looking forward to spring when we can start working in the yard and being outside. Hope to do better on my updates, but won't make any promises.
